Getting started with OpenDevoCell

Updated May - 15, 2020 ·

After weekly meetup with my mentor, now its time to get hands dirty with the project. So, First I have made a list of things that I have planned to do this week. My Top priority this week is to complete the color schemes for the portal by getting opinions of the communities and Experts. I have decided mainly four color palettes for the central color theme of the portal.

AGENDA?

I also get my Use Case Diagram to see how the user is going to interact with OpenDevoCell. I tried to keep it as user friendly and appealing as I can. My main motive, design, is inspired by Steve Jobs Quote "Simple can be harder than complex: You have to work hard to get your thinking clean to make it simple. But it's worth it in the end because once you get there, you can move mountains." You can see the different color palettes below. Also, UML Diagram is above to see how we are planning to join all the stuff of OpenDevoCell.

I have sent it to all the UI/UX designers in my contact and to different people of the community to get their ideas on it. Hoping the will send me reviews soon. Also, I have started working on the flow of the website. So, yes, I want to use some cool Java Scripts to make the motion flawless, but again OpenDevoCell has to be simple but beautiful. So, I am considering Full page JS, with some particles.JS touch. All these things must have to be finalized by the end of this week, and Bradly sir, also says there will be an Office Hour session in the community where I can fetch some excellent reviews on my plan.

That's all for this week.
